Guide to Henckels International

Zwilling J.A. Henckels, a German company, has been manufacturing knives for over 275 years and is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high quality knives. Zwilling (meaning “twin”) is the original name of the company, but the founder’s son later added J.A. Henckels. Over 100 years after its beginning, Zwilling started its value brand, an international division called J.A. Henckels International.

J.A. Henckels International Knives Series

The International division has several knife series including Classic, Forged Synergy, and Forged Premio. The two things that make the biggest difference in quality of knives are grade of steel and method of processing. All the knives come with a lifetime warranty.

The Classic series is forged with carbon, no-stain steel to be durable. It has a precision cutting edge and a triple riveted handle that is durable, comfortable, and unbreakable.

The Forged Synergy series is a contemporary design forged of stainless steel with molded handles.

The Forged Premio series has a professional look with a forged blade and three rivet design ergonomic handle.
